Review: Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 107

I know I've done a review of these lipsticks before but not this one in particular so I thought I'd tell you about the one I've been loving recently which is the number 107 which (I think) is called wine.

It's a gorgeous deep red/purple colour and it makes your makeup look dramatic, elegant and you might say mature. The difference between this one and the other Kate Moss lipstick (which also has different packaging) is that the one in the black packaging is slightly softer and heavier on the lips. That one is also slightly more pigmented than this one but that can be seen as both good or bad, it depends what you're looking for in a lipstick.

I've seen a lot of girls wear this lipstick and it does look dark and mysterious but if you don't really want that kind of image, you can use light eyeshadow or use a bit more highliter and blush just to get that lively look back into you! You could also focus on your lips and tone down the eye makeup, and a good way to do this would be to use brown eye pencil instead of black or liquid liner, and nude eyeshadows.

I think this lipstick would look fabulous on a night out or if you're going for a celebrity red carpet look, or even just on a casual day out with your friends! Do as you please, as long as you trust me and give it a try! I'll see you in the future hopefully! Goodbyeeeee! X

Review: BarryM Gelly nail polish

Hello again! Sorry that I haven't posted in a very long time but I hope that you will forgive me because I've done another review!

I've had this nail polish for quite a while now actually but I've only just gotten around to telling you what I think of it so here you go!

The BarryM Gelly nail polishes are incredible and a lot of people seem to agree with me because a lot of people own a couple of them and are very pleased with its outcome. I got one in the colour Passion Fruit which is a coraly-pinky-red colour (hard to describe but it's a lovely colour!), and I love it! It doesn't chip for a long time and it dries fairly quick which I am very thankful for because I hate waiting for nail polish to dry!

The only problem I have with this nail polish is that you have to put on more than one coat to get the colour that is shown in the package, whoch is annoying but I wouldn't recommend leaving it at one coat since it looks...how should I put it? Weak? Something like that anyway! On the back it tells you to apply a base coat before painting your nails with it, and I think that this is because of the thing that I saod so it might be a good idea to do that if you have the time!

Overall I'd give this nail polish about 8 and a half out of 10 since it has pleased me and I would recommend this to a lot of you! I hope this review has helped you in some way and if it has please tell me in the comment section! Also, while you're down there I would love for you to suggest what I could do for my next post, something different to a review maybe? Thank you to everyone that's read this and I'll see you in the future! Goodbyeeee! Xx

Review - Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick

I've been using this Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick for quite a long time now so I know what to tell you in this review because I've had "experience" if you like. It comes in many different colours and all of them are pretty, and the one in number 22 stood out for me while I was in the shop. It's a beautiful red colour with the smallest touch of pink in there, and it comes out bold and bright.
It is highly pigmented wich some people will love and others will hate, and I happen to love how it comes out. Because it's a quite matte lipstick, some people like to put some lip gloss over it to make it look glossier and it does look good with something over it just incase you were worried that it would look silly. It lasts for a long time too, which I find is a very good thing in lipsticks and I'm sure a lot of you do too because nobody really wants to put something on their lips and have it fade off in a matter of hours, do they?
A problem I find with this is that if you're eating food it comes off onto what you're eating which can tend to make it look paler and messier so maybe you could wear it after you eat to spare yourself from practically eating your own lipstick!
I find bright lipsticks great for livening up your outfit especially if you like wearing monochrome colours like I do, or if you just want to wear a bright lip! But if you're quite tame within your lipstick range there are some very natural colours and darker ones as well so there's a wide variety to suit everyone's style!
Overall I'd give this an 8 out of 10  because it feels nice on the lips as well as looks nice, but it does tend to spread because of how pigmented it is. Thank you for reading, goodbyeeee! X

Review: Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and concealer

People have raved about this foundation and concealer for a long time by now and I knew that they wede a popular duo but I never managed to own them myself. So, a while ago I popped into Superdrug to buy the products and tried them on afterwards and I thought that I'd share with you my oppinion on both the foundation and concealer seperately.

Foundation - to start off with, this foundation has a really nice scent which makes it even nicer to apply to your skin I think, and it's a very fresh smell that matches nicely with the foundation itself. As it's title says, it really does make your skin look more awake and natural, also giving it that glow you always want everyday to make you look alive, especially in the mornings. This has medium coverage which is good for people who don't really need that much coverage and have nice skin anyway, but I find that it can be too light for me on bad skin days and it might for you to. Sometimes, on hot summer days especially, it's like it doesn't want to stay in it's place and by the end of the day it's almost as if you never put it on in the first place, but I know that a lot of foundations do that as well which is a shame really. Despite some flaws, overall I give this foundation an 8 out of 10 because it gives you a healthy finish and makes you look alive and nice.

Concealer - this concealer acts like the foundation and makes you look lively and awake, but I honestly don't think that it covers blemishes and redness as good as I expected it to. Whenever I have that occasional nasty blemish and want to cover it up, no matter how much conealer I put on it it doesn't manage to make it look like it's disappeared which I know that we all want. It does most of the job neatly, but after a long day it seems like that blemish or redness has taken over and pushes the concealer off which is a problem, but you can always top up because it's size is suitable for a handbag or purse. Overall, I'd give this a 5 out of 10 because I personally don't think that it does the job as well as I hoped it would, but it still manages to cover up most of my flaws which is why I give it a 5.

I'm going to repurchase the Wake Me Up foundation but I think it's time to say goodbye to the concealer I'm afraid! I hope this review helped you in some way and I'm thinking of doing more of these in fhe future! Thank you, goodbyeee! X
